- I grew up fishing for bass, crappie, and catfish with my grandfather. He fished one main lake most of the time, Navarro Mills in central Texas. Only, he would never be caught dead in a boat. He fished slews, creeks, and streams that fed the lake.
I caught my first three fish with him when I was 11. I was hooked.
